Our latest generation wide angle 180 degree cameras, mounted at number plate or bumper level are great looking cameras that provide a full view across the rear of the vehicle.

On a typical installation an object 15 cm from the rear of the vehicle can be seen at a distance 1 metre either side of the camera (and 30 cm at 2 metres etc)

These cameras also provide excellent all around rear vision and even when set up for reversing can show the driver what is immediately behind the vehicle at distances of up to 50 metres

On tall vehicles a single camera is often mounted at the top of the vehicle to provide a look-down view across the rear of vehicle. Up until introduction of our latest generation 180 degree cameras this was the best option for ensuring the driver could see across the back of the vehicle. However, this installation is still a very popular choice amongst users who prefer the look-down perspective ? for example on vehicles used for site work.

For vehicles without a rear view mirror our systems are often fitted to provide the driver with a view of what is happening immediately behind the vehicle. All our cameras are designed for continuous use.

In many cases a single camera is capable of being used for both reversing purposes and to provide a rear view whilst driving normally. Even so many users still prefer to use 2 cameras with one optimised for reversing and one optimised for normal driving.

To reduce accidents, prevent theft and to provide evidence in the event of an insurance claim an increasing number of fleet operators are fitting accident/ incident recording systems to their vehicles.

Our recording systems can be integrated with our rear view and reversing systems and provide the option of giving the driver the additional benefit of increased vision around the vehicle.
