The DVR-2380 is an upgraded version of the DVR-1080. Much of the functionality of the DVRs is identical but the main difference are that the DVR-2380 will automatically detect that camera type and provides a HD video output, and can provide vulnerable road user detection and ADAS capability. Each time a Video Drive is removed from a vehicle it is recommended that when it is reinstalled it is reformatted on the vehicle to remove errors and dislocated files, and to ensure there are no firmware conflicts between drives that have been used on different DVR versions.
