Systems for FORS, CLOCS and Crossrail
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators. With over 4,900 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme.
FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for those organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements.
FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold membership provides progressive accreditation enabling operators to achieve exemplary levels of best practice.
It just gives vehicle operators a piece of mind in knowing that they are meeting their legislative requirements which also helps them to increase efficiency, reduce costs and also win work.
The CLOCS scheme provides the Construction Logistics Industry with the best practice for managing work related road risk (WRRR) and ensuring a road safety culture is embedded across the industry. This scheme helps to protect pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycles and other vulnerable road users who share the roads with construction vehicles.
The FORS silver requirements are now aligned to the requirements of the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) Standard and TfL’s Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) requirements.
To help Fleet Operators meet the safety requirements of the FORS and CLOCS Scheme Vision UK offer three systems packages designed to meet the specific requirements of the different levels of the scheme (Bronze/ Silver/ Gold).
