DVR-2040 is regularly updated and functionality will change slightly between versions so these instructions may not always show the most recent version of the DVR, and many of the examples or shown using the DVR-2380. However, the operation and functionality of the DVR-2040 and DVR-2380 is almost identical and there is only small changes in the menus between DVR-2040 variants.
We believe that most users will be easily be able to work out differences in operation to that shown.
