The FORS Gold VRUD (Vulnerable Road User Detection) is a 360 degree recording system that meets the TfL Progressive Safe-System requirements.

This system features an extreme duty 7″ Monitor and HD Cameras to provide the highest levels of durability with best possible image quality.

This DVR is enabled with 360 degree Vulnerable Road User Detection capability to meet the “Moving Off Information System” (MOIS) and Blind Spot Detection requirements of the Progressive Safe System.

In this featured installation we have upgraded a legacy non Vision  FORS Silver compliant system to the latest PSS specification.

We have utilised the legacy reverse camera, left turn alarm and some of the wring and we have added an offside camera to give the customer a 4 camera 360 vision system.  On this particular installation the installer was able to meet the BSIS Technical Requirements just using our SC-720 BSD side cameras and did not need to fit our stand-alone VRUD camera.

This Vision Blind Spot Detection Camera is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the TFL PSIS Technical Requirements.

This camera works in extremely low light conditions and has a long range that can detect Vulnerable Road Users (VRU’s) moving at speed along the side of the vehicle.  The target acquisition time is extremely fast, warning drivers of even the fastest approaching cyclists before they out themselves in a high risk position.
