The DVR-23×0 carry’s over much of the functionality of the final versions of the previous generation DVR-1080.
The DVR-2380 features a more powerful processor and although it automatically detects camera type, provides a HD video output, and can provide Vulnerable Road User Detection (VRUD) & ADAS capability; the installation and configuration is otherwise the same as the DVR-1080 (2021-23 models).

Please note that we strongly recommend that whenever a Video Drive is removed from a vehicle it is reinstalled it is reformatted on the vehicle to remove errors and dislocated files, and to ensure there are no firmware conflicts between drives that have been used on different DVR versions.
