DVR-1080 (h.264) was sold between Qtr4- 2017 and Qtr1-2021 and was regularly updated over this period. The functionality did change slightly between versions so these instructions may not always show exact functionality as the version of the DVR you have. However, the operation and functionality remain very similar across all variants and, we believe, most users will be easily be able to work out any differences in operation to that shown.
Each time a Video Drive is removed from a vehicle it is recommended that when it is reinstalled it is reformatted on the vehicle to remove errors and dislocated files, and to ensure there are no firmware conflicts between drives that have been used on different DVR versions.
