This Vision Blind Spot Detection Camera is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the TFL PSIS Technical Requirements.
This camera works in extremely low light conditions and has a long range that can detect vulnerable road users approaching the rear of the longest vehicles (including trailers). The target acquisition time is extremely fast, warning drivers of even the fastest approaching cyclists before they pull alongside any part of the vehicle
The camera only detect pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists so, for example, will warn the driver of a VRU filtering between traffic.
This camera does not rely on movement to detect a VRUD so keeps the driver aware of pedestrians or slow moving cyclists around the vehicle
