This Vision Pedestrian camera is specifically designed for fitting above 2M where the camera is looking down on Pedestrians and cyclists. Because the shapes a human body can adopt, the pedestrian detection algorithm for this camera is different to that of cameras that are designed to look straight on to the pedestrian or cyclist.
This camera can be connected directly to a Vision Monitor, and the Monitor will provide an audible and Visual warning of a Pedestrian within the driver’s blind spot.
It can also be integrated into a Video Recorder system, or be used as a stand-alone pedestrian detection device, by using the Audio Amplifier Lead (vision-uk.co.uk)
This camera is most suitable for Material Handling applications and the feedback we have received from numerous customers is they find this camera technology to be a significant improvement over the standard obstacle detection devices fitted to these vehicles.
