The SC-720 A is a HD side camera that features a fully adjustable ball camera contained within an extremely tough outer housing. These cameras are type approved and meet REG-61 External projection regulations so can be fitted anywhere on the side of the vehicle. Available with either white or black external housings
This camera features a Type Approved 720P Resolution Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) chip sets. The WDR chip set provides excellent image quality across all light conditions – from 0 lux through to bright sunshine, and cope extremely well with difference brightness levels across the image (i.e. Car headlights, street light, direct sunlight etc).
The camera itself is fully rotatable within the outer housing and this tough outer housing protects the cameras from impact and the cable entry from over zealous jet washing.
The SC-720A is normally supplied with a 150 degree wide angle lens that fully covers nearside blind spot even if the camera is not located at the very front corner of the vehicles.
For driver information purposes a 720P chip set provides better clarity than a traditional analogue camera and the resolution is ideally matched to the Vision 7″ Monitors. For Recording applications the 720P Chip Set often provides the best compromise between image quality and file size.
