The FORS Gold VRUD (Vulnerable Road User Detection) is a 360 degree recording system that meets the TfL Progressive Safe-System requirements.
We have separately highlighted a system on a Scaffolding Vehicle because the body is wider than any part of the cab and the VRUD needs to be mounted on a bracket to provide vulnerable road user detection along the length of the bed.
The system is otherwise a standard PSS specification system with a DVR enabled with 360 degree Vulnerable Road User Detection capability to meet the “Moving Off Information System” (MOIS) and Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) Detection requirements of the Progressive Safe System. The DVR is supplied with a 1 TByte SSD which will typically provide over 200 hours video recording.
Items included in this system:
BV-360 Front Mounted VRUD Camera
DVR-2380 Solid State Video Recorder
ALA-36 External audible left turn manoeuvring alarm
PDSC-52v Pedestrian Detection Camera
Alarm Disable Switch
AV Leads to suit application

The DVR is also available with an extremely cost effective Live View/ Remote Access upgrade option, which is an excellent solution for vehicles that do not regularly return to a depot and where footage can not be easily recovered manually. Click on this link for more information.
